Big fights broke out during poker tournaments in Europe. During one of the final days of the Balkan Poker Circuit at King’s Casino in the Czech Republic, there was a scuffle that saw some tournament participants swing their seats as a large portion of the court ran to the doors.
Someone at the casino with a higher point of view of the situation takes a close-up video and posts it on YouTube. One poster on a popular poker forum was on the tournament and was posted about his experience in a thread detailing the incident visiting Warkoppoker. According to the poster, the video only documents the final few moments of the fight and that the beginnings were dire.
“I was sitting at the next table (1 meter),” wrote the poster. “It was as if from nowhere, very suddenly within 2 seconds a player got up and hit his first in the head of another player five times or more. Never seen anything. Very aggressive. Blood splattered all over the table. The victim fell and the perpetrator continued to beat her. The victim has a hole in his head. “
The poster goes on to say that the original victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries and the player who started the incident was arrested. King’s Casino is the home of the European Poker World Series and is one of the few properties in the world to run large-scale multi-table tournaments. The video shows hundreds of players in the tournament area without masks as the Czech Republic dropped the mask requirement on July 1, according to one of the posters in the thread.
